“The secret of getting ahead is getting started.”

- Mark Twain -

I started playing when I was in 6th grade and continued to compete in high school and JO.

As a freshman in high school, I played as a libero on B-squad. For the next three years of high school, I played on varsity as a libero where I was a two-times All-Conference performer at North High School. During my junior and senior years, I earned Athlete of the Week as well as received an Academic Award Letter.

I started my club experience with North Juniors 14's team where I remained for the next two years and played on their 17's and 18's team. I later on switched club and played for Minnesota Volleyball Academy's 17's and 18's team, where I met Coach Kue and Coach Insai. I also participated on their select teams and high performance trainings.

In addition to my high school and JO seasons, I also participated in Hmong volleyball tournaments and competed in the Hmong Freedom Festival tournament. After a year of competing on various teams, I eventually joined Team Hype and have been with them for the past 5 years where we finished as the runner-up in 2018 at the Hmong Freedom Festival.

Aside from being a volleyball athlete, I spent a year as assistant coach for North Juniors 17's team, and in 2018, I joined Hype Volleyball's coaching staff where I coached during Summer League.

As of now, my love for volleyball continues. I’m currently pursuing my bachelors degree in Biology at Upper Iowa University as an athlete on the Division II women's volleyball team. I hope to inspire, teach, and push young athletes to their best ability.
