Hype Volleyball Summer League is a 5-week summer program intended for athletes who are incoming 5th/6th grades and incoming 7th- 10th grade athletes. (Up to incoming 10th grade +) 

 

The league consists of (4-5) 1.5 -2 hour team practices and 4-5 competitions around the Twin Cities area.  Athletes will have the opportunity to learn and enhance their technical skills, team skills, and volleyball fundamentals. Placement on teams for practice and competition will be based on skill and or grade in school.  Decisions on team placement are final and non-negotiable

​Girls Tryouts:

• June 17th from 6pm- 7:30pm @ North Heights Lutheran Church, 1700 Hwy 96. Arden Hills, MN 55117 (enter door C)

• Full payment is due same day if your athlete(s) makes a Hype team (see payment methods)

• Registration close June 9, 2026 9:00pm CT​​​​​

Team Practices:

• Tuesdays or Wednesdays 6:00-8:00pm or 8:00- 10:00pm @ Gethsemane - Address: 2410 Stillwater Rd E, St Paul, MN 55119 or NHLC 1700 Hwy 96, Arden Hills, Mn 55112 enter door C

• One practice/week.​

Competition Dates:

• July 16th, 23rd, 30th and August 6th, 2026

• Competition may occur over 2 - 4 hours period between 5:00pm- 10:00pm in the Twin Cities Area

• Competition Thursdays is an extra bonus. If competition is cancelled for any reason, there is no pro rate refund.

Cost:

• $425.00 includes coaching, gym rental for practices, equipments, team league fee, program administration and Hype practice/game shirt.

Payment Methods:

• Payment can be made in cash or check only (Checks make payable to Kuemeng Shiongyaj or Hype Volleyball)

• Reminder - Payment must be received on the night of tryout if your athlete(s) make a Hype team.

Boys Tryouts:​

• MIDDLE SCHOOL - June 16th from 6 pm- 7:30 pm @ Gethsemane Lutheran Church - 2410 Stillwater Rd E, St Paul, MN 55119 

• HIGH SCHOOL - June 16th from 7:30pm- 9:00pm @ Gethsemane Lutheran Church - 2410 Stillwater Rd E, St Paul, MN 55119 

• Full payment is due same day if your athlete(s) makes a Hype team (see payment methods)

• Registration close June 12, 2026 9:00pm CT or when full

 

Team Practices:

• Wednesdays 6:00-7:30pm @ Gethsemane - Address: 2410 Stillwater Rd E, St Paul, MN 55119
